Parent-Child Classes (Six months to age 3)
The perfect "first class", designed to offer whatever level of structure a young child can handle on any given day. With a great variety of physical and social activities, these classes utilize gymnastics, music, and are loads of fun for parent and child.
Younger Kids (Ages 3-5)
Our program is based on a philosophy of progression, active learning, and 25 years of experience. Kids learn that fitness is fun! Success is found in participation and appreciated through their own personal improvement. With excellent staff, facilities, and equipment, basic gymnastics and a variety of motor skills help children to develop strength, confidence, balance, coordination, and social skills. Kids get to display their new skills at Gymfest at the end of the Fall, Winter, and Spring sessions.
Team Programs
Madtown Twisters has a long and successful 25 year history of quality team programs, spanning generations in some families. Our goal is to develop healthy, disciplined, and internally motivated individuals through an intelligent, positive approach. Recreational teams require only one class per week and are for children of any skill level. Our advanced programs are the best in Madison and include pre-team, junior & high school competitive training, and multiple levels of boys and girls teams competing in the prestigious USA Gymnastics system at state, regional, and national levels. Moving on to other sports, or competing at the collegiate level on full scholarship, Madtown Twisters gymnasts are strong individuals with a mental and physical base that will encourage a pattern of success and fitness through life.
Recreational Teams (ages 6-up, any skill level)
This fun, new approach is becoming very popular for kids of any skill level and requires as little as a one-day-per-week class. Rather than following a broad-based class curriculum, we focus on skills for skill-level appropriate routines. Team uniforms and in-house meets are available with a fun participation-oriented focus. Kids advance through levels at their own pace with success measured by their own personal best.
For a child, there is no division between playing and learning...
